For someone who doesn't like fan art, I'm certainly doing a lot of it. Let me explain. I don’t dislike fan art, I just don’t like doing it myself.
Anyway. I'm a fan of the Halo games, specifically the ships in the games. So when a friend of mine told me that in the books, there's a bigger, meaner version of the ship in Halo 3, I said to myself, 'Yes, that needs to be modelled immediately' and three days later, this popped out. I'm probably never going to waste time texturing it.
Halo and all associated work belongs to Bungie, not me (no shit, Sherlock). Please don't sue me Bungie, you can have the model if you want...... yeah, didn't think so.

Love the ship and honestly space ships is one of the things i do not consider fan art you'd be surprised how many games out there share ships that look alike with maybe a few minor alterations. NMS has a few of ships that look dead on almost to other ships but then i realized they were procedurally generated ships.
